Scrumpies Xmas trip to the seaside
Ok, so it’s 21st December 2013 at 8pm the occasion centre 17’s Scrumpies Christmas meal with traditional chips and peas, and later lipinski on the famous pier the venue Weston Super Mare with 27 excited members in attendance the evening started with crackers hats and jokes all washed down with a few drinks all orchestrated perfectly by Linda.
With the last few drinks rushed as the over excited members wanted to get going it was time for the main event, the weather as expected cold and very windy which added to the rush to get onto the pier.
The route along the boards was something of a playground with a few laughs
Don’t drink and drive yellow cars that have rocket boosters attached, it scares the ladies
Once inside the air was full of laughing, talk and the beat of the group, getting us all warm again from the outside cold. With coats hung and drinks in hand we entered the unknown with a quick step and a nod of ready
With the group reassembled in a corner trying to find a table to rest the drinks there was no chance for a quite chat as the rhythm took control and the waving of the hands from some already on the dance floor was too much for anyone to stand still for to long
As the night began to come to an end there were a few signs that a few were having some side effects from drinking from damp glasses
But all in all another great night well supported and good fun had by all
