As an owners club, not a "motorcycle club" in the traditional sense, there's no problem if your'e already a member of a "motorcycle club" and also want to join us.

To join you must own one of the following qualifying Yamaha Cruiser Motorcycles
Bolt, Dragstar, Midnight Star, Raider, Roadliner, Road Star, Royal Star, Silverado, Stratoliner, Stryker, V-Star, Venture Star, Virago, Warrior or Wild Star.
"Once a member – Always a member!" (Subject to two years continuous membership with a qualifying bike). That means you can ride with us on a non qualifying bike or remain a member if you no longer own a qualifying bike.

There's no requirement or expectations demanded of members. Take as much or as little from what we offer as you wish. Your time and finances are limited so do what you enjoy and get from this club what you want. If you put the effort in, you will get a lot out. You can join events almost every weekend as there’s no need to stay in your area because the club is national and international.

We ride with safety and respect of all road users in mind. We stick to speed limits or below on large group rides to avoid people at the back breaking the speed limit to catch up. We're also considerate to newly licensed riders and learners that are in the pack on a ride out. No concern keeping up with sports riders. We don't charge for attending a ride-out (some clubs do) and on some occasions the Scrumpies have subsidised parking or entry to places we visit (if pre-approved by committee).

We are a social group, not a Religious, Sectarian or Political group. The emphasis of all our gatherings is friendly camaraderie and enjoyment regardless of age, gender, social standing or make of bike. Like any club it consists of people and their common interests. Yamaha cruiser motorcycles is merely one of the common interests.

Centre 17 (Scrumpies) is the largest in the Virago Star Owners Club and has more members than any other VSOC Centre.
