Monthly Round Up (MRU 90) - September 2025

Hi to you all. New and old Members.

Yet again the number of members in the VSOC and the Centre have gone down. So, setting up events and meet/ride-outs. falls on just a few. I am asking you all to help and support your centre.
I have gone though the list, that has been sent to me. From the Club Sec Fran. I can only go by the details sent to me. So, I am asking you all if you find out someone is missing, or I have the wrong details. Let me know ASAP.

So, were did Aug go. The weather has been kind for the Bike riders. I see you all getting out about, having fun. And that’s what it is about.
Can I pass on to all the members that supported the Welsh Rally over the weekend 21st to 25th Bank Holiday. A big thank you, from the Welsh for the support.

Sunday 7th Sept 10am - Wiltshire Monthly meet up, Location Change
We are going to Brogans 26 the Brittox Devizes SN10-1AJ
Only around 200 meters from Wetherspoon (normally meet here). So, if you stand outside spoon look across the road. And just to the right is a street. Go along the street into the shops area and Brogans is up on the right. Wiltshire members see you there. Open to all if you can. Last month we met up in the basement. As the standing country rep , just to let you know can’t make this one due to being in London.

Sunday 28th September - The Fat Ladies Run 2025. (FLR)
Every year we end the riding season, for some with FLR. I have not had any County step up this year. So as the Wiltshire acting rep. I have taken it on so it can take place.
Due to the size of the Scrumpies area, some members will always have to travel a lot of miles to the RV for the ride.
So, the first part will be down to members to meet up in there local area and ride into Rv. This year the RV will be Warminster services on the A36/350. The meet up time is 11.15am top up tanks for a 25mile ride as a Centre, leaving stand up 11.30am.
The End of the ride will finish at the, Somerset Festival of Transport. Location West woodlands Show ground BA115ES. Planning to be on site by 12.30pm. Now I know some members may already be on site, with there bikes. You don’t have to go to the show; it’s up to you. There is an entry fee. £9 for oap and £10 normal. So, if you can come along.
Now last year the weather was so wet we had to cancel. So just in case the weather is against us. I will send out confirmation of the run after 10.00am on the Saturday 27th September.

As a Scrumpy, you can attend any event in Centre 17 and members from other VSOC centres are always welcome.

If from outside the area please contact the local rep before attending in case of change to planned meet location/time (we sometimes do an earlier rideout instead)
