Monthly Round Up, (MRU 95) - February 2026

Hello Scrumpies.

The season has started, despite the rain. A brief MRU this month as we concentrate on a few key points.

February 21-22nd, Bristol Classic Show.
This weekend, Steve and the Somerset crew are leading on our stand at this season opening show. I have been attending shows here since I joined the Scrumpies. There’s always a variety of bikes to see, bargains to tempt you and a chance to catch up with fellow Scrumpies.
I look forward to seeing you there.

April 6th, Coleford Carnival of Transport & April Fools Run
We have been going here for years. Always a great free day out with almost every type of vehicle on show.
Please let Becks know if you will be joining the April Fools Run. Details are:
Meet at Aust Services, Severn View, M48 junction, BS35 4BH
Full tank recommended as garages near Coleford will be busy
Stands up at 9.30am
Run into the Scrumpies stand at the Coleford Carnival of Transport
Email to daviidrj@hotmail.com the following details:
Bike registration
Make and model of the bike
Your name
This is essential as the bikes will then be registered for the show.

Renewals.
It’s that time of year, renewals are due. All of our events are run by our members, so we all need each other. And with such a full diary of events, it’s definitely worth remaining a Scrumpy. So, please renew soon at vsoc.org.uk The on-line system is simple, and it works.

If from outside the area please contact the local rep before attending in case of change to planned meet location/time (we sometimes do an earlier rideout instead)

June 12-14th, International Rally, Netherlands

July 25th, Calne Bike Meet.

July 30th-2nd August, Scrumpies Party.

September 20th, Fat Ladies Run.

October 11th, Scrumpies AGM and Inter County Conker competition.
Normal venue, Sutton Veny village hall.
