Banwell to Brecon and the Bus station

After leaving Banwell with plenty of Somerset members joining this, the first of the seasons rideouts,

the first port of call was Magor services where members from every county and Gerwyn representing the Welsh, joined us for what was an amazing turnout for such a cold and overcast day.

I can only think everybody was well fed up of the winter, and wanted a good ride to clear the cobwebs.

The weather was fine as we left Magor, As we approached the junction for the A470 Kev decided he wanted to chase a Mercedes farther down the M4.

Before we reached Merthyr the rain started, so pulling in to don the waterproofs, Kev caught up.

Apparently road rage turned him into an off duty police officer, and he wanted to vent his feelings to the driver of the Merc who cut him up.

The ride to the top was wet and cold, so a break for tea and a fag was required.

Some decided it was too cold and wet to take off helmets and gloves,

so couldn't have a drink.

Slightly warmer we rode on to Brecon for lunch. everybody did their own thing , mostly indoors.

After refuelling and the rain having cleared up it was a much nicer ride to Abergavenny Bus station for a cup of tea and look around the other bikes there.

A great ride down the Usk valley took us back to Magor where we all said our goodbyes and went our own way home. looking forward to the next ride.
