Well, yet another year when we helped out
our friends on their little Italian scooters. We all met at Tescos Blandford, and Kev took us to the venue. Unfortunately there was another rideout somewhere, and a wedding, that many of the scooters had gone to. So we prepared to marshall a lot fewer than previous years.
Kev took us on a fine ride through the Dorset countryside. By the time we reached our halfway stop.
We had only lost 4 scooters, judging by the smoke coming out of one engine, they were taken by the greek god of fire VESPA oh sorry VESTA.
It was also apparent that there were nearly as many Marshalls as Scooters. But, HEY! we all had a good time, and it was good marshalling practice. Dave |
