GERMAN CLUB PLAQUE ON UK TOUR
So it came to pass that when attending the German Rally, on the Sunday, 15th of June 2014. The Scrumpies members were having a few drinks with the German rally crew and others from the UK.
A lot of the members had left the rally on the Sunday but around 50 members of the rally were left, it was a very good group. The drinks were flowing very well and the comradery was fantastic. Some of the Scrumpies took a liking to the German club plaque, made of wood and painted. So we, (no names mentioned) kidnapped the said plaque. But we did not do it very well and were seen by the German crew. So we had to come clean.
The German crew then asked us to take the plaque on a tour of the UK over the next year. We would take the plaque back to the UK take pictures of its travels and hand it back at the UK international in June 2015 at Bushey.
