Fat Lady 2010 SS Great Britain Another season over, and the last official rideout of the year was our annual Fat Lady run. As always the weather was fantastic, (if a little bit chilly for the early risers). Meeting place was Gordano services on the M5. After coffees and chats Grasshopper got down to the fine details of the ride just as bandit screeched in from his ride up from Exeter A gentle ride of about 7 miles into Bristol and we met in the car park with those already there, and Bob and Kate who arrived on their own. 32 in all.

The tour started with a photo at the front
with the token bike wheeled in for effect.

|
Following the photo shoot we all made our way to the depths of the dry dock to see what went on below the waterline.

 Kev had his 'This doesn't make me look so seasick' top on. Then around the land based museum with loads of info and interactive stuff.

Then on into the ship itself, so much to see you could spend all
day there. You can easily understand why they have received so many awards inc
best UK museum 2009 They even had smelly vision, If you stuck your head in the room with the lady being sick, or in the horse stables, you know what I mean.
