Bushey Rally C13 (Or – it’s not Cheshunt this time)
And where was the Rally? Where would you expect the last place for a biker rally to take place? Yes, you guessed it: The Metropolitan Police Social Club This is why I suspect the standard transport for the Saturday morning was this
Yes you’ve got it – a row of double decker buses. There was no way anyone was going to get breathalysed on Saturday morning after the night before. A day in London took place with a tour of our city and a look at all the sights.

After a day of touring back to the Rally to get ready for the evening. The Rally these was Cops & Robbers. The organisers tell us that this was the theme before they found the venue. However we all suspect ......... The Scrumpies though Cops & Robbers!! Well everyone will come as police or crooks. We were nearly right because the majority did although we did have a Sherlock Homes. We needed to think a little out of the box. Well we already have our own Bandit – so lets go with that. Let us present to you Robin Hood and his merry Scrumpies.
We have Maid Marion & Robin, Will Scarlet with his Hannah Montana guitar with his wench on the side, Little John (thats the tall one called Bandit), Friar Tuck with his white bloused bed warmer, as well as our own Sheriff of Nottingham (Herb from Spellbound). We even managed to pick up a little green elf from some left over Father Christmas grotto. Mind you the elf seemed a happy chap.
The evening started well enough with Marion, Robin and the Sheriff around the negotiating table no doubt discussing elf rights.
Robin & the Sheriff seemed to be getting along
Even Grasshopper let his hair down
But he paid the price later
Will was so good on his guitar the band even asked him to enhance their sound
Soon however the good relations between the Cops & Robbers broke down as negotiations took a turn for a worse
Even Will Scarlet’s other half managed to stick a knife in his heart
However at one point everyone seemed very tired and had to sit down
The next day however, after the Sheriff was vanquished, with wench & little elf rights restored, all was back to normal – the Scrumpies helped marshal the ridout to a biker landmark
And to end it all an art shot from our Robin Hood
An absolute great time was had by all. C13 did themselves proud and pulled out all the stops to make sure the VSOC had the best. Everyone had a smile on their face – you cant ask more than that. Take care and ride safe AJ
