Well it was that time of year again when Wiltshire had its Christmas Party. First weekend in December what we have done year after year. We had to as Philly wanted to defend her title.

Off we went to the Golf Hole for 18 holes of Indoor Crazy Golf. As he had not been for a year some of us did not understand what the long things were for and that you only needed one.

Some even thought that we had come for the music.

However, we soon got into the swing of things (sorry I could not resist).

Every county was there. We had people from all 5 areas and a total turn out of 25. We stared at 10am and it took all of us about 2 hours to get around. Blacky used his head as per usual and his group started half way round so his group started at hole 10 and the did the 1st holes after – saved some time.

All holes done so its into the cars and just under 2 mins in the car to HongXin all you can eat Chinese Buffet. Good food and for those who were not driving a lunch time glass of something stronger.

Then onto the Prize Giving. I can assure you that ALL expense was spared and last years winner gave out the prizes.

There was only 1 first prize – but unfortunately there were 2 winners as we had a draw. Well done to Maz and Dawn.

Obviously were there are winners there are also others – that don’t come 1st.

(You can’t be a loser if you are a member of or associated with the Scrumpies.)

As always the wooden spoon goes to the highest score – which was Emily.

As usual there was a lot of laughter. There always is when the Scrumpies get together and fun was 100% had by everyone.

To those that asked – Yes we can do the same next year.
