CALNE MOTORCYCLE DAY -  2012

 

For the first time in months the sun shone and the bikes turned up in their hundreds to what was probably one of the best Calne Motorcycle days for a few years.

 

 

The eager beavers had the stand up by 9.00am ready for the rest of Wiltshire to arrive. We were duly joined during the morning by Somerset, Bristol, Dorset, Glossies and C16.

In all around 30 bikes.

 

 

 

 

 

The day followed the usual format, Bands, crowded pubs, BBQ’s, club and classic bike displays and in-between were various traders and visits from our friends from other bike clubs.

 

 

 

At the finish a dozen or so rode up to Bowood house for biscuits, lemonade and a bop with the Marquis of Landsdowne.

 

Thanks for all who turned up and the helpers, especially TC despite his poorly pinky.
