Mallory 2018

Festival of 1000 Bikes as they call it, we just call it Mallory Park, Bob (Blackjack) Barber, the VSOC Heritage officer normally arranges this as part of the VSOC Heritage promotions... and sets the Heritage stand he put together listing the history of VSOC bikes through the years.

If you want to come along and put your bike on display, your bike needs to be older than 15 years. You need to turn up on the Friday to help setup shop and remain there for the weekend to leave on the Sunday afternoon around 4pm. Otherwise you are welcome to attend the event and pay for entry and come and say hello

Many just turn up with their tent and camp for the weekend, pretty much like a rally. Mallory Park is essentially a race track and the event hosts track events for those interested in getting their bikes out on the track.

TC sets up his field kitchen. Bob arranged burgers for us all on Friday night. Saturday Morning TC treated us all to an awesome breakfast with some banter thrown in at no extra cost.

Many prefer to turn up in their luxurious vans. Bob Boza's here struggling to get his eyes open after being woken.

Getting the bikes on stand in the morning is our first priority

Watching the track events can also be a lot of fun.

The Flying Merkel seemed to do pretty well compared to most and I just had to go and have a look at it in the pits.

Whilst TC continued to encourage new members to join the VSOC.

Just walking around the parking lot outside the event was also quite interesting. They used to host track events for the Honda C90's but they did not do that this year.
